I bought the “Plain Barrel” with a “Blackened” finish. I put this pommel on my Spanish Bilbo Guard with a “42” inch blade. My sword overall was too tip heavy. Even When I was using two finger grip, it was still really tip heavy. So I bought this pommel to pull the weight away so it wouldn’t be too tip heavy. The pommel was perfect in changing the weight for my needs. Of course my sword is heavier overall but It is better balanced. 5/5 Looks, 5/5 Function, 4/5 Price
