This Pappenheimer features our most popular pattern. The teardrop shape of the plate and elegant style of the piercework, coupled with some minor detailing, produces a very striking rapier. Pappenheimers tend to be a bit heavier than the swept hilts, but are typically more robust. Historically, many Pappenheimers were mounted with “sword” blades rather than rapier blades and may account for their slightly heavier construction.
This Pappenheimer comes mounted with a 42″ practice rapier by default and weighs about 2.2 lbs.
