German Baskethilt – Guard

This German Baskethilt comes from the mid 16th century. The decorative motif appears to be a common one for the Germans of this time, and for the most part this appears to be a common style of construction. It is shown with a leather wrapped handle and a half-round hollow pommel – but only the guard will be in your order.
